Privacy policy.

What we collect when you use the site or contact us, including unfinished forms, cookies, analytics, ad tracking and heatmaps; why we collect it, how we protect it and how long we keep it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

Who we are

AI SEO Sydney is a Sydney search marketing agency. In this policy "we", "us" and "our" mean AI SEO Sydney. You can reach us at hello [at] aiseosydney.au or on (02) 9064 2864.

What we collect

What you type into the enquiry form. Your name, email address, phone number, company and website, industry, annual revenue band and your message.

Details sent with the form. The page you filled the form in on, the first page you visited in that session, how you reached the site (for example a search engine, an ad, a campaign link or another website), your time zone, your device and browser type, and your IP address.

How you use the site. Through the analytics, advertising and heatmap tools described below, we collect information such as the pages you view, how long you stay, what you click, how far you scroll, your approximate location (city or region), and your device, browser and screen size.

Abandoned or unfinished enquiry forms

If you start filling in our enquiry form but do not press send, we may still receive what you have typed. Once you have entered a valid phone number, our site saves the details you have typed so far, even if you then close the page, lose your connection or change your mind.

If you do not want us to contact you about an unfinished enquiry, do not enter your details, or tell us and we will delete them.

Cookies and tracking technologies

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies include pixels, tags and your browser's local or session storage. We use them to run the site, understand how it is used, measure and improve our advertising, and see where pages can be made easier to use.

Essential and functional. Our site stores your entry page, the source of your visit and a random visit id in your browser's session storage, so we know how you found us when you send an enquiry. Your browser clears this when you close the tab. Cloudflare may set a cookie to protect the site from abuse.

Analytics, advertising and heatmap tools. We use, or may use, the following services. Each one sets its own cookies and collects information on its provider's behalf, under that provider's own privacy policy.

When an enquiry is sent successfully, we may record that as a conversion in Google Analytics, Google Ads and Meta. We do not send the content of your enquiry, your name, email or phone number to these tools.

Your choices about cookies

Why we collect it

We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not sell or rent your personal information.

How we protect it

How long we keep it

Form logs are kept for 90 days and then deleted automatically. Unfinished enquiries are deleted once they are completed or we have been notified, and are never kept longer than 90 days. Enquiry emails in our inbox are kept for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any work that follows. Analytics, advertising and heatmap data is kept by Google, Meta and Microsoft for the periods set in their own policies and our account settings.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to run the site, deliver enquiries to us and measure our marketing:

We only share what these providers need to do their job. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

Overseas disclosure

Some of these providers, including Resend, Cloudflare, Google, Meta and Microsoft, store or process information outside Australia, mainly in the United States and in other countries where they operate data centres. By using the site and our enquiry form, you acknowledge that your information may be handled overseas by these providers.

Accessing or correcting your information

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by contacting hello [at] aiseosydney.au. We will respond within 30 days.

Complaints

If you have a concern about how we have handled your information, please contact us first so we can put it right. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example when we add or change the tools we use. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
